About The Position
The Bogalusa Container Plant is seeking a Maintenance Electrician - Grade B. This is a full-time hourly position with rotating shifts. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, reading factory details, accurately reading gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, and accurately completing quality and administrative documents while following directions.
Requirements
- 3+ years in Industrial Manufacturing
- PLC troubleshooting, inputs/outputs and changeouts of programs
- Experience photo eyes, sensors, limit switches and solenoids
- Repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems (line controls)
- Mechanical systems (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes)
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics
- High and Low Voltage
- Ability to operate a multimeter to diagnose a variety of electrical issues
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, hear and talk to communicate with other team members.
