About The Position

This new position will assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Duties for IEs include, but are not restricted to, electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair, conduit & wire installation, lighting repair, PLC troubleshooting & repair, drive troubleshooting & repair, Instrumentation & control valve calibration, troubleshooting & repair, and HVAC work.

Requirements

Ten (10) years of experience in Instrumentation or Electrical Maintenance Skill Areas
Currently 18 years of age or older
Eligible for employment in the U.S.
High School Diploma or GED
Industrial technology degree or certificate from accredited college or trade school in Instrumentation or Electrical disciplines
Basic computer skills
Able to function in a team environment
Willing to undergo pre-employment and periodic drug screens for illicit use of drugs
Willing to work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
Willing to work overtime, holidays and/or weekends regularly and with last minute notification
Willing to wear required safety equipment
Able to operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper training and protection)
Experience with and troubleshooting skills for High-voltage and power distribution
Experience with and troubleshooting skills for AC and DC motors and drives
Experience with and troubleshooting skills for Control systems (DCS, PLCs, PCs, Analytical Equipment)
Experience with and troubleshooting skills for Control valves
Experience with and troubleshooting skills for Pneumatics, hydraulics, calibration, and use of test equipment
Knowledge of P&IDs, instrument loops, and electrical schematics
Strong math/physics understanding
Instrumentation background on the Instrumentation Electrical side
