The Maintenance Director is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, safety, and appearance of the facility and grounds within a long-term care and rehabilitation environment. This position ensures that the building, equipment, resident rooms, life safety systems, and utilities are maintained in compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations. The Maintenance Director plays a critical role in providing a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for residents, visitors, and staff while supporting quality resident care and operational excellence. The Maintenance Director supervises maintenance personnel, coordinates preventative maintenance programs, oversees emergency repairs, and ensures compliance with life safety, infection control, OSHA, and healthcare facility regulations.
