The Maintenance Director oversees the Community safety program, ensuring a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations. This role sustains a preventative maintenance program for all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. The Director is responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and leading the maintenance team to provide exceptional services. Key duties include mechanical repairs, installations, maintaining water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, kitchen equipment, and plumbing systems. The role also involves efficiently completing all maintenance requests, managing inventory of chemical supplies, implementing safety protocols per OSHA requirements, performing exterior maintenance, and conducting fire and disaster education and drills. A significant aspect of the role is engaging with residents compassionately, fostering a supportive environment that reflects the values of love, compassion, and dignity.
