About The Position
Cavette Hill was designed to provide a comfortable and protected world for patients who need more medical assistance or memory care. We want each patient to have a beautiful and caring environment free from daily burdens. This level of care will ensure that as our residents age and their needs change, we can be here for them, providing the services and care that helps maintain their good health for as long as possible. Cavette Hill has four wings with 15 apartments per wing open to a central gathering area with save and easy access to dining and group activities. The memory care residents are provided the individualized attention they need in a dedicated wing. The building includes two courtyards that allow for safe outside activity. We are located at 121 Cavette Hill Lane, Knoxville, TN 37934
Requirements
- Previous Maintenance experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Heavy duty cleaning, grounds care, maintenance of institutional equipment and vehicles
- Cutting grass, fertilizing and planting flowers, spraying for insects and disease on flowers and shrubs, weeding, watering, spreading mulch
- Requisitions supplies and equipment for use in department activities
- Coordinates work of maintenance department with other department functions so as not to interrupt patient care or normal business functions
- Inspects all equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety
- Prepares and submits reports as directed by the administrator
- Able to be on call for emergencies
- Directs or performs duties concerned with maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveways, etc. May include gardening, landscaping, clean-up, snow removal, etc.
- Runs errands, handles incoming and outgoing freight, lifts and moves heavy furniture and equipment, and other miscellaneous duties as directed by the administrator
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and repairs of institutional property, equipment and grounds as directed by the administrator
- Responsible for the care and use of supplies and maintenance equipment used in performance of duties
- Regular inspection of property and equipment for compliance with safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
