About The Position

As our Maintenance Director, you are the "face of operations" for this prestigious Class A commercial campus. You won't just oversee maintenance; you will own the facility’s strategic direction. As the Facilities Maintenance Director, you will serve as the primary point of contact for campus operations, providing transparency and high-level reporting to client leadership.

Requirements

Engineering or technical maintenance background (MEP expertise preferred)
5+ years of experience managing facilities and multi-vendor contracts.
An engineering degree (Electrical/Mechanical preferred) or equivalent high-level technical maintenance experience (e.g., military engineering background). You understand MEP systems and the mechanics of a large facility.
Proven experience managing Class A space or high-traffic commercial environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for campus operations, providing transparency and high-level reporting to client leadership.
Partner closely with a dedicated onsite Janitorial Manager who directly oversees all commercial cleaning and janitorial functions, allowing you to focus heavily on engineering, infrastructure, and overall site management.
Proactively manage vendor contracts (landscaping, elevators, specialized services) to ensure site quality remains showroom-ready.
Lead a dedicated maintenance team of 8-9 professionals to ensure efficient building performance.
Conduct facility assessments and propose infrastructure improvements (e.g., HVAC upgrades, site aesthetic improvements) that align with the client’s budget and long-term vision.
