About The Position

Minnehaha Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Maintenance Director to join their growing team. Minnehaha Senior Living is located directly on a bus route off the corner of 23rd Avenue South and East 38th Street, in Minneapolis, MN. They help seniors Age Magnificently in their gorgeous 77-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. In this position, you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanics, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing as well as housekeeping and laundry operations.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures repair, maintenance, and function of building electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, floor care, vehicles and grounds meet expectations.
Creates and implements preventive maintenance program for buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
Ensures work orders are completed in a timely manner.
Consistently protects residents and tenants’ safety by controlling access to chemicals and equipment.
Attends and assists in training events to maintain and expand competencies and customer.
Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and adherence to department’s budget.
