About The Position

This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the Seguin Service Center.

Requirements

Must have Diesel Mechanic experience.
Must have a Minimum of 6 months of industrial maintenance experience.
Must provide a resume or manually enter work-related experience on application.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

CDL is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Forklifts: Maintenance and repairs
Semi-Trucks: Servicing and repairs
Pallet Jacks: Ensuring operational efficiency
Hydraulic Motors and Hoses: Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Augers: Repairs and maintenance
Tire Repairs: Repairing and mounting new tires
Vehicle Washing: Washing vehicles as needed
Diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
Comply with Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson's policies and procedures.
Communicate and interface with management and other personnel.
Capable of reading and following instructions as well as technical manuals.
