About The Position
Performs custodial and cleaning tasks, including dusting, floor cleaning/waxing, operating cleaning equipment, and garbage disposal in accordance with sanitation and operational standards.
Requirements
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Performing custodial and cleaning work, including dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment, and cleaning/waxing floors, common area kitchens, and restrooms.
- Operating cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners and floor polishers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Collecting and disposing of garbage and recycling materials in accordance with sanitation and operational standards.
- Ensuring all areas are clean and presentable, ready for use by employees and visitors.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and reporting any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the facilities management team.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
