About The Position

Velocity Flow Technologies Corporation is currently looking for a part time Maintenance Custodian who will play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position supports facility operations through a combination of custodial, groundskeeping, and maintenance activities, helping ensure that buildings, equipment, and grounds are properly maintained and ready to support daily production and business operations. This role is ideal for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in their work, and can work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent or vocational technical school.
  • A minimum of one (1) or more years of maintenance experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic is preferred
  • Providing own basic hand tools
  • Acceptable driving record and valid driver's license
  • Ability to work an on-call schedule as required meeting the needs of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the facility, including offices, production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces.
  • Perform routine groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance, including litter control, seasonal cleanup, and general property upkeep.
  • Support the Maintenance Department in maintaining buildings, equipment, vehicles, and utilities in safe and reliable operating condition.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities and work order completion through the company's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Clean, inspect, and replace filters and perform other routine facility maintenance tasks.
  • Operate forklifts and industrial floor-cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventories of maintenance, janitorial, and facility supplies; notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Assist with facility setup, teardown, and support for meetings, training sessions, conferences, and company events.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, facility deficiencies, and safety concerns.
  • Pick up parts, supplies, and materials as needed using company vehicles.
  • Provide support to Operations and other departments as needed to help maintain an efficient workplace.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
