Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
  • General knowledge of building management.
  • Knowledge in the fields of: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and swimming pool operations.
  • Knowledge of government regulations pertaining to health, safety, and ADA compliance.
  • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community, including staff and members.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Leader certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting with building operations and maintenance for Downtown Location and the Tennis and Pickleball Center.
  • Responsible for assisting with all YMCA facilities when other association property director and/or coordinator is unavailable.
  • Assist with equipment and building maintenance for the Downtown location.
  • Assist with hands on repair and maintenance of the Downtown location and the Tennis and Pickleball Center.
  • Assist with implementation of yearly preventive maintenance program.
  • Assist with planning and coordinator of special projects for annual pool shut-down.
  • Assist in maintaining OSHA compliance guidelines.
  • Maintenance Coordinator will participate in staff meetings.
  • Maintenance Coordinator is required to be “on call” on a regular basis, both scheduled and as needed to provide services for entire Association.
