In this role you will ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building through routine procedures and special work orders. This position is responsible for completing work orders around the community, performing work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s, and ordering and organizing maintenance supplies as needed. The role also involves completing general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping. The Maintenance Coordinator will respond promptly to emergencies and after hours calls, maintain knowledge of all property emergency, safety, and disaster plans/procedures, and ensure that the office, shop, storage, and mechanical areas of the community are in accordance with SLC policies. Additionally, the role may involve driving residents to stores or on special trips as needed.
