About The Position

In this role you will ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the building through routine procedures and special work orders. This is a full-time position with a salary of $20 per hour. Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing repairs for apartment move-ins, ordering and organizing maintenance supplies, and handling general maintenance projects such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping. The role also involves responding to emergencies and after-hours calls, maintaining knowledge of safety and disaster plans, ensuring the office, shop, storage, and mechanical areas are in compliance with policies, and driving residents to stores or on special trips as needed.

Requirements

Valid Driver's license.
Clear and positive communication skills.
Self-assured with a can-do attitude.
Ability to excel at independent work.
Ability to feel a sense of accomplishment after fixing something or completing a project.

General mechanical and/or electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Complete work orders around the community.
Perform work and repairs needed to ready apartments prior to move-in’s.
Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed.
Complete general maintenance projects, including installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, equipment repair, snow removal, and landscaping.
Respond promptly to emergencies and after hours calls.
Maintain knowledge of all property emergency, safety, and disaster plans/procedures.
Maintain office, shop, and storage and ensure that mechanical areas of the community are in accordance with SLC policies.
Drive residents to stores or on special trips as needed.
