About The Position

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to make a real impact? We're looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will oversee all incoming work order requests, distribute tasks to maintenance technicians, and ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. You'll be the main point of contact between residents and the maintenance team, while also assisting with special projects and capital improvements. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or 2-5 years of related experience or training
  • Customer service and coordination experience
  • Proficiency in software applications, smartphones, and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Answer maintenance requests and input work orders promptly
  • Monitor work order timelines to ensure they meet SSOP guidelines
  • Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction with completed jobs
  • Assist with scheduling contractors for capital projects and obtaining quotes
  • Ensure timely delivery of supplies for scheduled projects
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely arrival and completion
  • Schedule and track special projects and make-readies
  • Maintain a production schedule for ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Work with Service Manager, Regional Manager, and Property Manager to ensure smooth operation of work orders and maintenance tasks
  • Assist with inspections, including fire and DCA tours, and property curb appeal initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state Fair Housing Laws and all company policies
