About The Position

The Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical leadership role by ensuring smooth maintenance operations, clear communication, and consistent execution. This position provides direct support to employees, helps plan labor and workflow, and promotes a positive, accountable, high-performance culture. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and hands-on leader with a proven track record in manufacturing maintenance.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience required.
Experience in a lead, coordinator, or informal leadership role strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and professionalism.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Working knowledge of safety standards, production process, and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead daily maintenance operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
Coordinate staffing, assign work, and ensure proper coverage throughout the department.
Communicate department expectations, updates, and operational priorities to team members.
Support employee engagement by providing coaching, guidance, and day-to-day leadership.
Collaborate with operations, quality, and other departments to act fast on challenges.
Monitor performance indicators (output, downtime, cost & attendance) and address issues promptly.
Maintain accurate shift logs and reporting.
Promote a safe work environment by leading by example and by enforcing safety policies. Work daily to build a safer environment.
Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Adopt the mentality of making our best better.
Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across the area.
