About The Position

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as minor repairs at Angel Stadium. This role involves performing a variety of skilled duties in trades such as painting, carpentry, and minor electrical work to maintain and repair the building. Additionally, the position supports a team of Maintenance Technicians in their various skilled tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years' experience providing maintenance support in various maintenance techniques and trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
  • Ability to work safely with hands and power tools
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
  • Ability to be on feet and walk long distances, which may include climbing ladders and staircases
  • Proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks in an efficient and timely fashion
  • Professional and personable. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Willingness to work in a rapidly changing, diverse environment
  • Willingness to accommodate the schedule in an attraction and events venue
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours based on attraction schedule (nights, weekends and holidays as necessary)
  • HVAC/Refrigeration Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform routine and preventative maintenance and minor repairs at the venue.
  • Perform a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining and repairing the building.
  • Support a team of Maintenance Technicians performing a variety of skilled duties.
  • Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance as necessary to maintain facility appearance to a high level of standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance when necessary.
  • Service, maintain, install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair all necessary attraction equipment.
  • Complete required maintenance tasks in a timely manner, ensuring repairs are made safely and in compliance with relevant laws and licensing authority regulations.
  • Conduct attraction walk-throughs to ensure all fixtures and equipment are operational prior to and during all events.
  • Work with building management and third-party vendors to ensure proper installation and/or repairs of certain equipment.
  • Advise when an outside contractor may be necessary.
  • Review contractor estimates to ensure they accurately reflect required repairs and reasonable job costs.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by management.
  • Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
