The Maintenance Coordinator performs a variety of duties in the delivery of Maintenance, Facilities Management and Contracted Services, with a focus on optimizing value received from field activities. The coordinator will be expected to increase up time and Maintenance and Contractor efficiency by matching production and maintenance schedules. He/she maintains liaison and coordination between Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Contractors. Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of successful maintenance experience, preferably with the Tippecanoe Labs maintenance organization.
  • Proficient in SAP PM and standard productivity tools (Word, Excel).
  • Strong working knowledge of process equipment, including pumps, agitators, instrumentation, and piping.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer interaction skills; able to influence and lead across maintenance and operations.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple activities independently with strong documentation skills.
  • Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and data-evaluation skills; familiarity with proactive asset management processes preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of required ITP training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.
  • Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
  • Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
  • Compile reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
  • Follow regulations and company policies (Quality, Safety, Environmental).
  • Monitor CMMS work requests.
  • Coordinate Capital projects with Engineering.
  • Communicate schedules and resolve equipment issues with relevant teams.
  • Validate and eliminate duplicate work requests.
  • Track Schedule Compliance and share KPIs.
  • Follow up on feedback and closing notes.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with RFIs and permitting.
  • Gather necessary equipment documentation.
  • Establish and share weekly maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate resources across the site.
  • Create and maintain job plans in CMMS.
  • Assist with maintenance procedures and parts delivery.
  • Ensure accurate spare parts inventory.
  • Participate in job walk-throughs and conduct weekly Contractor Safety Audits.
