About The Position

The 3rd Shift Belt Crew Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the performance and maintenance of Belt Crew Machinery. They use diagnostic tools to find the root cause of an issue, and then they use power hand tools to fix the issue. The Belt Crew Maintenance Mechanic should have an expert knowledge of mechanics, as well as an aptitude for working with their hands. Schedule for this position is Mon-Fri 7:00pm-3:30am.

Requirements

• +1 years of experience in industrial setting.
• +6 months of mechanical experience.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Completion of any task related to the mechanical components of the company’s machinery and equipment.
• Inspection of test machinery and equipment by using diagnostic tools to inspect and test all machinery and equipment under their control.
• Diagnosing the root cause of mechanical malfunctions and repairing the problem through sounds or visuals.
• Installing and repairing any machinery or parts needed for the Belt Crew.
• Choosing appropriate materials based on mechanical needs to solve and prevent any future maintenance issues.
• Occasionally using tools such as drills, saws, solders and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Making necessary modifications and implements test runs; conferring with the manager regarding test results and making additional alterations to machinery as required.
