About The Position

The Maintenance Controller oversees the daily operations of fleet maintenance activities, ensuring work is properly planned, tracked, and executed. The role supports branch teams and promotes consistency across the maintenance program. The ideal candidate is organized, operationally aware, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in maintenance, logistics, or operations.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in fleet maintenance, equipment management, or a similar field.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor day-to-day fleet maintenance activities across multiple branches.
Track maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset readiness to minimize downtime.
Partner with branch maintenance teams to prioritize and execute maintenance work.
Maintain accurate records in maintenance systems, ensuring data integrity and visibility.
Support compliance efforts related to DOT, safety, and quality standards.
Assist in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with Fleet Services, Safety & Quality, and DOT Compliance teams.
Identify and escalate maintenance issues that affect operations.
Support reporting and analysis of maintenance KPIs and performance metrics.
Assist with onboarding and integration during branch acquisitions.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
