About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Maintenance Clerk 2nd Shift Team Member. This position starts at $22 per hour based on experience. The role is responsible for receiving and stocking machine parts for production, tracking and managing PM-based job plans and backlog, documenting PMs, and ensuring parts, materials, and tools are available for planned jobs. The Maintenance Clerk will work with the Manager of Maintenance, Maintenance Supervisor, and the Maintenance team to support plant reliability and mechanical integrity programs. This role also involves tracking and reporting on maintenance performance metrics, assisting with planning for major plant turn-arounds and equipment overhauls, and working additional hours to support annual turn-arounds. The position requires knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, the ability to type 35wpm with data entry skills, and the capacity to learn computerized inventory systems and facility terminology for issuing or ordering parts. Accurate cycle counts are necessary to maintain inventory levels. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to speak, read, and write English Language
Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays if needed

Responsibilities

Receiving and stocking machine parts for production in correct locations
Tracking all PM-based job plans and manage PM backlog
Documenting all PM’s and monitor through completion
Ensuring parts, materials, and tools are appropriately requisitioned and available to complete planned jobs
Working with Manager of Maintenance, Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance team to support plant reliability and mechanical integrity programs
Tracking and reporting on appropriate metrics to monitor and improve maintenance performance and plant reliability
Assisting with planning/scheduling effort for major plant turn-around and equipment overhauls
Works additional hours to support annual turn-around
Perform accurate cycle counts to maintain correct inventory levels
Performs other duties as assigned
