About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and managing all hotel maintenance operations to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems. The Maintenance Chief Engineer oversees preventive maintenance programs, supervises maintenance staff, manages budgets and vendor relationships, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supports exceptional guest satisfaction through efficient facility operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with computers and technical systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to use office equipment efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to obtain any required government or brand-specific permits, licenses, or certifications
  • Flexible schedule, including varied shifts, nights, weekends, holidays
  • Minimum commitment of 40 hours per week
  • Motor vehicle required
  • Background check required
