About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and custodial duties for casino-related buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include cleaning, upkeep of facilities, seasonal grounds maintenance, and assisting with repairs and preventative maintenance programs. The position also requires participation in company-sponsored training to enhance skills in monitoring, maintaining, repairing, and operating equipment.

Requirements

Ability to perform custodial duties.
Willingness to participate in company-sponsored training.
Ability to perform building and grounds operations including drywall repair, painting, drain cleaning, plumbing, and carpentry.
Ability to communicate service needs and failures to supervisor and manager.
Ability to respond to service calls with diligence and professionalism.
Ability to perform seasonal grounds maintenance.
Ability to perform year-round exterior grounds maintenance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with monitoring, maintenance, repair, and operation of casino-related Buildings and Grounds equipment.
Experience in preventative maintenance programs.
Experience assisting Maintenance Trainees and HVAC Technicians.

Responsibilities

Perform custodial duties including dusting, sweeping, raking, vacuuming, washing, stripping, waxing, polishing, shampooing, buffing, bonneting, and extracting areas, equipment, and furnishings.
Fill product dispensers (e.g., toilet paper, hand towels).
Empty and reline trash receptacles.
Set up and tear down tables and chairs.
Perform seasonal ice removal, snow shoveling, and salting of necessary areas and surfaces.
Participate in company-sponsored training to enhance daily monitoring, maintenance, repair, and operation of casino-related buildings and grounds equipment.
Participate actively and efficiently in the preventative maintenance program.
Perform building and grounds operations such as drywall repair, painting, drain cleaning, plumbing, and carpentry repair projects.
Communicate building and grounds crisis service needs and failures to supervisor and manager.
Assist in crisis-related repairs.
Respond to service calls with diligence and professionalism.
Perform seasonal grounds maintenance including grass cutting, weeding, trimming, snow plowing, and salting.
Perform year-round exterior grounds maintenance (e.g., trash pickups).
Assist Building and Grounds Maintenance Trainees and HVAC Technicians.
