About The Position
Join the OX team, creators of OX-IS—an all-in-one solution meeting building code requirements for structural sheathing, continuous insulation, and weather and air resistive barrier performance. We’re seeking a Maintenance B who’s ready to be part of an innovative company delivering high-performance building solutions that simplify construction and ensure code compliance. The Production and Facility Maintenance Technician (Maintenance B) will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery as well as managing general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrate a commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality. The Pay Rate for this position is $34.37 per hour and the shift is 3rd (9pm-5am). Successful candidates will train on day shift until prepared.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification a plus
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with tools, welding and alignment equipment
- Ability to read mechanical schematics or blue prints
- Basic facility maintenance knowledge (plumbing, machine repair, etc.)
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to be on-call or work overtime as needed
- Welding or fabrication experience
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and maintenance best practices
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
- Carry out preventive maintenance procedures as scheduled.
- Assist with the installation, setup, and modification of machinery and production lines.
- Maintain and repair facility infrastructure, including plumbing systems and building structures.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and repair histories.
- Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to address mechanical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance work area and related tools.
- Respond to maintenance requests quickly and safely to minimize downtime.
- Assist with facility maintenance tasks like basic plumbing and general repairs.
- Keep maintenance logs and records up to date.
- Work closely with machine operators and supervisors to resolve mechanical issues.
- Help install new equipment and assist with machine changeovers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
