The Maintenance Automation Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and facility systems with an emphasis on controls, including relay logic, PLCs, and HMIs (Allen-Bradley). This role also involves working with servo drives and motors, robotics, vision systems, and electrical power distribution. The technician will maintain, repair, and test automation systems, components, and networks. They will also provide assistance to engineering and operations regarding process issues and improvements, consult with suppliers on component specifications, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. A basic understanding of CNC is also required. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, capable of working independently or within a team.
