About The Position

Ramada Plaza Prince George is seeking enthusiastic, attentive, and approachable individuals to join their team as Maintenance Attendants. This role is crucial in ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable, and that the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and functioning properly. The position involves responding to guest maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with emergency repairs, all while maintaining a high level of guest service.

Requirements

Some experience in maintenance/repairs.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Ability to be on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Understanding that SERVICE is the key to any successful business.

Responsibilities

Respond to urgent maintenance requests from the previous night.
Address guest maintenance requests such as running toilets, dripping faucets, and door lock issues.
Perform preventative maintenance projects to protect hotel assets and ensure all areas are functioning properly.
Paint ceilings and trim.
Repair tile, furniture, and plumbing.
Assist with major emergency repairs, including water shutdowns.
Follow company policies regarding professionalism, guest privacy, and repair availability.
Anticipate guest needs, record preferences, and handle requests, questions, and concerns.
Maintain a calm and welcoming demeanor while multitasking.
Listen respectfully to guest complaints, empathize, and work towards efficient resolutions or involve management when necessary.
Adhere to all company and brand standards to protect hotel property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
