About The Position

This position assists other Maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment. The role involves cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, and work areas, as well as completing work orders and records. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing building facilities such as plumbing, construction, and painting. The associate will operate material handling equipment and assist in the usage and disposal of hazardous materials. Preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electronic/electrical equipment, HVAC units, facilities, and grounds are key functions. The role also requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.   • Prior work experience in a construction, industrial, production, or manufacturing environment.
