About The Position

This position assists other Maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment, cleans and maintains equipment tools and work areas, and completes work orders, records logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures. The role involves maintaining and repairing building facilities, including plumbing, construction, and painting. It also includes operating material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment. Additionally, the associate will assist in the usage and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, and perform preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on various equipment such as production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, HVAC units, facilities, and grounds. The role requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Requirements

  • Prior work experience in a construction, industrial, production, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
