About The Position

The Maintenance Associate program provides on-the-job and on-line training in the areas of mechanical, electrical and preventative maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 year technical degree in a relevant field of study OR experience working in the corrugated industry
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong interest to work with mechanical equipment
  • Willingness to be trained and to perform as a multi-craft mechanical Maintenance Technician
  • Outstanding communications, interpersonal and team skills
  • Desire for a long-term opportunity
  • Action oriented and drive for results

  • Organized

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level
  • Complete emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations
  • Accurately use measurement and test equipment
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
  • Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
