About The Position

This role accelerates business value by being responsible for assisting in delivery/installation and repair/service of merchandisers. Demonstrates our “True North” attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Ability to work in an unfatigued state
Ability to accurately gauge lengths of time and distance
Ability to quickly store and recall instructions in one’s short term memory
Ability to concentrate and perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment
Ability to cope with sudden changes in surrounding and/or emergency situations and/or alarms
Demonstrate a caring, committed and concerned attitude about safety
Possess fast reflexes and unimpaired coordination and ability to rapidly respond to stimuli

Ability to take prompt and appropriate response to operating conditions
High school diploma with ability to complete paperwork.
Must be able to operate forklift; have valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experience in refrigeration/electrical repair preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain appearance and upkeep of ice merchandisers.
Assist in delivery and installation of ice merchandisers.
Report any parts or items needed to Maintenance Technician.
Assist in service and repair of units.
Pick up parts and supplies as requested.
Report any comments or complaints from customers.
Call Supervisor if product is out of stock.
Complete all necessary paperwork in a neat, accurate, and timely manner.
Keep refrigeration repair area neat and clean.
Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.
