About The Position

This position assists other Maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment. The role involves cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, and work areas, as well as completing work orders and maintaining building facilities such as plumbing, construction, and painting. The associate will operate material handling equipment and assist in the usage and disposal of hazardous materials. Responsibilities include performing preventive and basic maintenance on various equipment, including production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, and HVAC units. The role also requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and involves completing work assignments by prioritizing, collaborating with others, and adapting to change. Requirements

Prior work experience in a construction, industrial, production, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assists other Maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
Cleans and maintains equipment tools and work areas.
Completes work orders, records logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
Maintains and repairs building facilities (e.g., plumbing, construction, painting).
Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
Assists in the usage and disposal of hazardous materials and waste (e.g., cleaning chemicals) according to company policies and procedures.
Performs preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, HVAC units, facilities, and grounds) according to company policies and procedures.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
