About The Position

This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of optical, mechanical, and electrical equipment in an industrial setting. The associate will perform custodial activities, read schematics and technical drawings, and troubleshoot electrical systems and controls. The position requires a focus on operational excellence, partnership, and data literacy, while upholding the company's values of respecting individuals, acting with integrity, serving customers, and striving for excellence.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience repairing/maintaining optical, mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Additional certifications may be required based on State Laws or requirements (National Certification/Registration).

Responsibilities

  • Organizes thoughts and communicates credibly and concisely within scope, presents to and influences team members and business partners.
  • Explains operational functions and key functional roles of assigned department of unit.
  • Supports the development of business cases and recommendations.
  • Gathers data, information, and content in a digital environment and interprets appropriately.
  • Prepares and compiles relevant information and data for use in negotiations.
  • Identifies the responsibilities of each party in a delegated activity.
  • Uses cleaning equipment, agents, and techniques (e.g., mops, vacuum cleaners, pesticides) to clean dirt, sterilize supplies, and dispose of waste in assigned areas.
  • Describes common drafting conventions, tools, procedures, and processes.
  • Navigates and troubleshoots control systems.
  • Identifies electrical design concepts and techniques used in supply chain.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of wiring schematics, ensuring they meet requirements and are safe and compliant.
  • Explains procedures and tools for inspecting existing electrical work.
  • Lists applicable safety codes and regulations.
