About The Position

This position will assist journeymen-level electricians and instrumentation technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program allows you to earn while you learn through hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
Eligible for employment in the US
One (1) year experience in Instrumentation or Electrical Maintenance Skill Areas OR One (1) year vocational/technical education in Instrumentation or Electrical Maintenance Disciplines
Willing to work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces)
Willing to undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
Willing to undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
Willing to undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment
Willing to submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
Willing to work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
Willing to work overtime on a regular basis and with last-minute notification
Willing to work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
Willing to wear required safety equipment
Industrial safety procedures and equipment
Troubleshooting and repair of: Instrument and control loop calibration, Electrical control circuits, Control valves, PLC programming, DCS programming, Electrical power distribution and grounding, Motor control circuits, AC/DC motors, Protective relaying and switchgear
Reading and interpreting blueprints, tables, graphs, and diagrams
Instrument Theory
Control Theory
Production-related computers and software
Basic electronics
Lighting repairs
Installing conduit and wire

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.
Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
