About The Position

This position is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of various building equipment, including shrink wrappers, automatic freezer doors, HVAC units, UPS, lighting, garbage compacting equipment, fire doors, emergency generators, fire alarm systems, MHE, overhead doors, dock plates, trailer restraints, racking, and garbage handling equipment. The role also involves supporting CMMS and associated maintenance processes, interpreting blueprints (electrical, mechanical, and structural), and promoting Health and Safety in a team environment. Adherence to all procedures, policies, and manufacturer guidelines is essential, as is performance in accordance with provincial laws and company procedures. A strong understanding of lock-out/tag-out procedures and maintaining productivity and hygiene standards are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Support CMMS and associated Maintenance processes
• Blueprint interpretation, including; electrical, mechanical, and structural.

• Understand and effectively follow all procedures, policies including those established by the equipment manufacturer
• Performance of all duties in accordance with Provincial laws, training and company procedures
• Strong knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures
• Maintaining productivity and hygiene standards in accordance with policy
