About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work at The Landing located at 3500 Faulkner Drive, Lincoln, NE 68516. The Landing has 90 independent living, 34 assisted living and 14 memory support apartment homes. The schedule for this Full time Days shift is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position also includes an on-call rotation when needed. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• One (1) year of facilities maintenance or related experience is required.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred
• Equivalent years of work may substitute for education requirement.
• Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Ensures building and equipment are in working order by performing preventative maintenance and repairing damage.
• Completes work orders in a timely fashion.
• Conducts general carpenter work using common hand and power tools.
• Diagnoses mechanical problems.
• Assembles structures such as furniture or pipe systems.
• Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts.
• Cleans and lubricates equipment.
• Paints and patches walls, equipment, and structures.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs electrical wiring.
