About The Position
As the Maintenance Assistant, you will assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring that the Community is safe for residents and staff, attractive and well maintained, and operating within the Community maintenance budget. The position is at MerryWood on Park in Charlotte, North Carolina, and requires flexibility to work on call and weekends.
Requirements
- Relevant work experience; 1+ years preferred.
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Basic reporting and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain full-time attendance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
- Must be flexible to work on call and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Director in keeping the Community safe for residents and staff.
- Assist in maintaining an attractive, well-maintained Community.
- Assist in ensuring the Community operates within its maintenance budget.
