About The Position

The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments, including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments. The property also features four villa patio twin homes with two and three-bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building offers a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage includes 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and a residents’ storage area. Managed by Ebenezer, this newer care facility is located in River Falls, WI. This role monitors preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment. It also involves training other building staff on basic troubleshooting of building systems and equipment.

Requirements

1 year of experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems
Driver's License

Responsibilities

Repairs and maintains physical structure and grounds.
Repairs items found deficient by maintenance or requested by work orders.
Changes filters and checks belts on air handler units.
Checks kitchen equipment.
Greases, checks belts, and oils laundry equipment.
Helps in housekeeping as requested.
Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
Maintains shop in a clean and orderly manner.
Removes snow from sidewalks and walkways and uses ice melt on sidewalks as needed.
Trims around bushes, trees, and sidewalks.
Removes debris and downed palm fronds.
Keeps grounds safe and looking neat and attractive.
Processes work orders and performs other duties as assigned.
Assists with turnover of apartments for new residents.
