About The Position
Tarantino Properties is currently seeking Maintenance Assistants in San Antonio, TX. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in apartment maintenance while working alongside an experienced maintenance team.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing
- Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems
Nice To Haves
- HVAC (EPA) certification preferred
- Pool certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
- Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
- Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
- Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
