The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Assistant is to assist the Maintenance Director (MD) in maintaining and operating the physical aspects of the Property. This role involves ensuring the community is prepared for emergencies, participating in preventative and routine maintenance programs, and maintaining mechanical equipment, building structures, and grounds. The assistant will also help ensure safe operation of equipment, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and manage an online work order system. Adherence to OSHA and Company guidelines for safety procedures, including lock-down and tag-out, is crucial. Other duties may be assigned as per the full job description.
