About The Position
Heritage Hall-Wise is recruiting a knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant. The role performs maintenance and construction work around the facility, maintains the grounds, parking lots, and equipment, and performs cleaning tasks as needed in basement, storage, and utility areas. The Maintenance Assistant paints and plasters as needed and inspects equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Trade school certificate in one or more major trades; job experience may be substituted.
- At least two years of experience in maintenance, construction, or power plant work.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and construction work around the facility.
- Maintain grounds, parking lots, and equipment.
- Clean basement, storage, and utility areas as needed.
- Paint and plaster as needed.
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.
