Maintenance Assistant - Part-time
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Director, our Maintenance Assistant oversees the Community safety program and maintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance with policy and regulations. This role sustains a preventative maintenance program to maintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. The Maintenance Assistant completes all maintenance requests, both scheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently, and performs exterior maintenance duties. They also engage with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction, and performs fire and disaster drill activities with residents and team members.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior Senior living experience desired
