About The Position

Park View Nursing and Subacute is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. The role involves supporting the Maintenance Department by ensuring the facility environment is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner, following company policies and procedures. The Maintenance Assistant will also assist with the operation, repair, and maintenance of various facility systems and equipment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years’ experience in the operation of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc.
Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
Ability to plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation.
Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
