Maintenance Assistant - Assisted Living Community Pineapple House is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Full-Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team. Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep
Conduct inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
Assist with setup and breakdown of community events and activities
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders
Ensure all safety protocols and standards are followed to maintain a secure environment
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents
Assist with groundskeeping and landscaping tasks as needed
