About The Position

We are looking for Maintenance Assistants (Floor Techs) to become part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team!

Requirements

• Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment (minimum of 1 year); preferably in long term care
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Technical school achievement a plus
• Hospital or healthcare experience for at least 1 year in maintenance a plus

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in the development and implementation of the communities’ maintenance policies and procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
