About The Position

This role focuses on the maintenance and care of assets within the facility. The position requires a strong understanding of various technical skill sets and the ability to apply them in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be motivated to develop their skills through educational opportunities and will contribute to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.

Requirements

High school diploma/equivalent required.
Engineering courses successfully attended and passed.
Scored 40 or above on mechanical aptitude test.
Work a 8, 10 and/or 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods.
Climb.
Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
Possess an adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause and effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment.
Proficient in Electrical Repair.
Proficient in Pneumatics.
Proficient in Troubleshooting.
Proficient in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Proficient in Electrical Schematic Reading.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates the motivation to develop and strengthen understanding of basic troubleshooting, basic welding (MIG, gas and torch), basic plumbing, A/C and D/C electrical systems, basic Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, basic machine shop knowledge for drill presses, lathes and saws, proper and safe methods to use various testing equipment, basic motors and motor starters, and general working knowledge of machine shop equipment.
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Understanding of SAP maintenance module.
Strict adherence to GMP, SOP, environmental and safety procedures.
Ability to follow standardized work instructions.
Other duties as necessary.
