About The Position

Directs and coordinates all activities of the following department(s): Maintenance, Set-Up, CNC, and Engineering. The role is responsible for support in the processing of materials or manufacturing products in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate roles with EHOB. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reviews production orders and/or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products to plan department operations. Prepares maintenance schedules and coordinates activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to optimize costs and prevent operational delays. Maintains an annual operating budget, in a fiscally responsible manner. Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. Procures parts, machines, materials, and other products that are necessary to run the operation as needed. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards. Reads and understands blueprints of buildings, machines, tooling, and electrical diagrams. Project planning and implementation of small and large projects. Works to resolve worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Human Resources for action. Compiles, stores, and retrieves preventative maintenance and machine repair data. Participate as a member of the Management Review Board on decisions that affect the company and its policies. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Position requires competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with a CMMS system and ERP/WMS system is preferred.
  • Experience with Scanning Technology and implementation.
