About The Position
As the Maintenance and Project Manager, you will lead all maintenance functions and capital project initiatives within the facility. You will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, drive continuous improvement, and manage the planning and execution of capital projects. You will be located at PPG's Gainesville, TX Plant and will report to the Plant Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline.
- 7 + years' of experience in operation maintenance or engineering field with 3 + years of supervisory role in the department.
- Experience with planning, scheduling and leading projects.
- Able to use Auto Desk or equivalent software
- Experience with CMMS, SAP, Maximo, MicroMain, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program.
- Ensure high equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts for equipment failures.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and maintenance costs.
- Manage maintenance planning and scheduling to optimize workforce efficiency.
- Oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets.
