About The Position

The Maintenance and Millwright Supervisor provides mechanical upkeep for machinery and leads a skilled maintenance team working across several facilities. The position may be based at a Farmers Cooperative location that is flexible depending on the individual. The supervisor schedules and oversees projects at facilities such as grain elevators and feed mills, helping ensure equipment operates properly and safely. The role also supports other departments during peak seasons by assisting with loading and unloading agronomy and grain products. Requirements

Extensive knowledge of welding, fabrication, mechanics, basic construction, electrical work, plumbing, preventative maintenance, millwright work, hydraulics, and related areas.
Ability to lead, recruit, develop, and oversee millwrights, including providing direction, training, coaching, and support.
Ability to operate single- and double-axle trucks, forklifts, scales, augers, skid steers, construction equipment, application equipment, and front-end loaders.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical upkeep for machinery, drawing on knowledge of welding, fabrication, mechanics, basic construction, electrical work, plumbing, preventative maintenance, millwright work, and hydraulics.
Lead, recruit, develop, and oversee a team of millwrights by providing direction, training, coaching, and support.
Schedule and oversee projects at facilities such as grain elevators and feed mills, coordinating team resources and priorities while ensuring equipment operates properly and safely.
Operate equipment including single- and double-axle trucks, forklifts, scales, augers, skid steers, construction equipment, application equipment, and front-end loaders.
Assist other departments with daily operations during peak-demand seasons, including loading and unloading agronomy and grain products.
