About The Position

The Maintenance and Inventory Manager will manage maintenance employees/contractors and all aspects of repair/preventative maintenance. This role supports plant operations by providing maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure effective use of company and contractor resources, and that maintenance activities are completed on time and on budget. The manager will also oversee all aspects of purchasing, receiving, warehousing, and inventory of chemicals, expendables, and spare parts.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher (two-year college or technical school)
• Minimum 4-years of maintenance and/or project execution experience, preferably in Chemical Manufacturing
• At least one-year supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of CMMS and Inventory Management Software
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to work autonomously

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability and willingness to operate a fork truck

Responsibilities

• Manage Chemical, Expendable, and Spare Part inventories, purchasing and receiving
• Work with Operations to coordinate receiving of chemicals
• Obtain quotes and acquire materials, equipment, and services
• Manage Maintenance Employees and Contractors
• Plan, Schedule, and Execute Maintenance (PM and Daily) Activities
• Work with Purchasing and others to issue Purchase Orders, perform goods receipt and track budgets
