This role is responsible for operating equipment to diagnose failures, troubleshooting equipment to the electronic and/or mechanical component level, and dismantling equipment for repairs. The technician will inspect and measure parts, realign and adjust components, and validate machine repairs. A key part of the role involves troubleshooting electrical components, measuring AC and DC voltages, and interpreting machine system drawings. Additionally, the technician will provide support and training to machinists and machine operators, develop and maintain preventive maintenance lists, and schedule repairs with outside suppliers. Collaboration with engineers, production personnel, and programmers is expected to resolve machining or assembly problems.
