In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our warehouse systems and production equipment. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting exciting growth initiatives.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience as a facility or maintenance technician (experience in a food production, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment is a huge plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a relevant trade is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of industrial automation systems, building infrastructure (lighting, docks, doors, flooring) and basic facility systems (electrical, plumbing, refrigeration & HVAC)
- Proficient with standard hand/power tools and a natural knack for mechanical problem-solving
- Ability to perform manual labor, stand for extended periods, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Ability to travel reliably to our main site and secondary locations as required

Responsibilities
- Swiftly diagnose and fix facility and production equipment issues (including conveyor systems, light plumbing, basic electrical faults, and HVAC adjustments)
- Execute regular building inspections and preventative maintenance schedules to stop breakdown issues before they start
- Respond efficiently to daily maintenance requests, prioritizing critical tasks to keep our operations moving
- Assist with the installation, relocation, and commissioning of new, state-of-the-art production machinery
- Act as the on-site point of contact for external contractors and specialized repair vendors
- Maintain accurate digital logs of work orders, maintenance history, and spare parts inventory using our CMMS system
- Champion a safe work environment by strictly following lockout/tagout protocols, OHS regulations, and supporting facility audits
